Laura Putnam - Found Object Sculptor

Laura has always expressed her creative side by looking at things with a different perspective. She loves upcycling found objects by turning others’ trash into new found treasures.  Her artistic creations can be found throughout her garden and home, but all have some ties to nature which is a part of her passion and daily life.

Laura is a lifelong Missourian, and has lived in the Kansas City area for 30 years.  She has two children, one a recent graduate from the University of Missouri and the other who will be a Senior at MU next year.  She has worked in the medical industry for 35 years and spends her free time searching for her next creative inspiration.

Sandi Young - Painter

Sandi Young did not grow up an artist, but always appreciated the beauty of nature and life around her. After her divorce a couple decades ago, she relocated from the St. Louis area to Southern California. There she discovered her passion for her artistic side and began painting the beautiful surroundings she found herself in. Sandi loves drawing and painting some of the most beautiful animals and scenery she has encountered on her world travels across North America, Europe, Africa and New Zealand.  Having been a successful business woman, sketching and painting is a big creative outlet for her energy. There is little time for Sandi to paint because of her philanthropic interests and travel schedule yet she always finds time to paint an annual Holiday painting which is made into ornaments and giclee prints for gift giving. She remains open to her next creative and spiritual call!
