Martha Valenta - ADHD Brain Coral
This art series stems from Martha Valenta's profound encounter with a brain coral while snorkeling coral reefs in Belize. In the squiggling, chaotic lines of the brain coral, she saw her own vibrant, racing mind. Beyond the brain coral she observed other corals on the reef in their branching forms and fleeting colors. For the first time, she recognized the beauty of her mental energy, rather than instability. There she found acceptance and appreciation for her colorful, creative, ADHD mind.
